We recently spent 4 perfect days at this condo. It is ideally located, very easy walking distance to downtown Vail Village, with large living room windows offering up a stunning view of Vail Mountain, and its Bear Tree ski run. The condo is very roomy for one couple and just right for two. The owners actually live in the condo for a few weeks of both the winter and summer seasons so it is kept up as, and really feels like, a nicely appointed home away from home, rather than just a “rental”. The bedrooms are a nice size, the master with en suite full bath and the other with beds which can be configured as one king or two twins as needed. Everything in the condo is in excellent condition, comfortable, convenient, and attractive. There is a great deal of attention to detail throughout the place, such as reading lights next to all of the beds, end tables for all living room seating areas, full size high quality bars of soap in the bath, plenty of extra blankets, dimmer switches for all ceiling lighting, large distortion free mirrors in both bedrooms, very nice, non-institutional, charming and unique artwork and objets d’arts, and more. The included WI-FI is further complemented by the availability of a color printer and an under counter wall-mounted plug-panel ready to conveniently accommodate multiple phones, ipads, camera chargers, etc. The kitchen is equipped with a surprisingly generous assortment of utensils, graters, chef tools, actually sharp (almost unheard of!) knives, and high quality stainless steel pots and pans. Additionally, if you are a baker, this is the condo for you; cookies, cakes, breads, cupcakes, you name it, you will have what you need to make it. As if this isn’t enough, many kitchen items which we usually anticipate having to buy and then leave behind, such as plastic wrap, bags, tin foil, paper goods, basic condiments (ketchup, olive oil, salt, pepper) and even cooking spices like dried herbs, powdered ginger and curry, are all graciously supplied. I could go on and on singing the praises of this condo (e.g. the locker in town is a great touch, saving one from the chore and hassle of schlepping your ski equipment and boots back and forth every day, there is plenty of free parking) but I won’t, because, it must be obvious enough by now that, given another opportunity to vacation in Vail, there is no place other than this condo that we would even consider staying. As already stated, it was 4 perfect days.
